This is the page for the audition process. This is where you will find requirements, as well as the google form for auditionees to fill out. The deadline for auditions is April 16th, at 11:59 pm, CST (Central standard time)

The process:

​When someone auditions, we will look through their audition, and if we will be considering them, a zoom will be scheduled so we can really get to know the person. After we do the zoom, we will let you know within a few days if you will not be going any further with the audition process. If you haven't been rejected, you will still be a candidate for the group. If we will not be considering you, we will reject your audition without doing a zoom. We will let everyone know at the end of auditions if they have made it or not. 

If you have already auditioned for this group, you may audition again. We ask that if you audition during this round of auditions and are rejected, that you do not re-audition.

New Iconic is going to adapt some elements of K-pop into the group, so we ask you to at least respect the genre of music.

 

Requirements:

#1: Record yourself singing or rapping, and a dancing video. We just want to see where all your skills are at, you don't have to be good at a certain skill, we will work and build them up. What is most important to us is passion. The video at the minimum should be 45 seconds, and at the longest 3 minutes.

#2: Read all the information on this website so you know how things will work, and age requirements.

#3: Please fill out the google form we provided.

​

#4: Provide a clear headshot of yourself, with no heavy filters or effects.

#5:You must be a Sophomore-Senior in high school.

#6: You must live in Johnson County, Kansas, or other counties surrounding it so we could potentially meet, as well as it would be easier as a group to relocate.

#7: You need to be honest about yourself.

​

#8: You must show your face while doing your vocal or rap song of your choice, and must show as much of your body in the frame as you can with dancing.

​

#9: You must respect K-pop and its artists.

​

#10: You must be  15-20 (The original age range was 15-18, but we have now changed it to 15-20. You still need to be a Sophomore in high school if you would like to audition.) to ensure everyone will be old enough when moving in together, as well as making sure we are all out of high school.
